This is vital for our community that we succeed in advancing public safety. Mike will do more than just talk about this during election time, he will bring together the necessary resources for advancements.
Traffic Solutions - Manage traffic with the latest wireless technology to control the bottlenecks throughout our city. Moving traffic faster and more efficiently is key to making improvements. Mike has and will support capital improvements along with technology to improve the movement throughout the city.
Assisting Our Growing Senior Population - Let Torrance be a partner in providing medical alert devises for our shut-ins. As is well known, currently many seniors live alone and at times need critical emergency assistance. The senior population is one of the fastest growing groups in the city. We need to recognize advancements in caring for our senior population.
Make Torrance Greener – Add parks, plant more trees and promote Green Sustaining Technology where possible. The environment we live and work in is increasingly recognized as important for healthy living and working.
Economic Strength - With Mike's past experience and his creativity in government and industry, he will lead Torrance in the wise use of your tax dollars while maintaining programs for our youth and culturally diverse population and making sure that necessary street improvements are done properly. Mike recognizes that it is the economic engine that drives the level and quality of services the City of Torrance provides. This is the heart of a successful and vibrant city, Mike will make sure it stays this way.
